Will it boot, and then can I just update drivers? I am trying to avoid rebuilding my machine (again). I just rebuilt it recently.

Aside from the drivers, your SSD won't fit because the T430s uses a 7mm drive.

If you're running Linux, yes, you can (physical aspects, like 7 vs 9.5mm drives, aside). I moved the SSD from my X61 tablet to my new T530 without any hiccups.

If you're running Windows… while you may be able to get it to work eventually, you'll waste a lot less time reinstalling from scratch.
