T440s lagging at times... Help me fix this!

#1 Post by Whitieiii » Wed May 31, 2017 5:11 pm

I'm having troubles with my T440s... at times it will just lag... I first thought it could be my internet or even my new SSD but come to find out my MacBook Pro does the same thing also.... it isn't just the internet it's the whole os that lags whether connected to the internet or not still lags sometimes... like it takes a while for text to show up once typed or exiting full screen takes awhile (stays black before exiting) and even sometimes it will say Firefox isn't responding or Firefox has crashed along with videos lagging to where I need to refresh web pages or videos never load but do on my iPhone, iPad and t430 and x220

I did ran both a windows defender and malware bites scan and came up clean plus I ran ccleaner and removed all unwanted junk... still lags at times

if anybody knows what could be going on please help both my T440s and MacBook Pro!

If you don't have any programs that might not work if you uninstall them for whatever reason, i think you should reinstall your OS

i'm really thinking of downgrading to windows 7 from windows 10.... i've already reinstalled windows 10 and it isn't much of a help... my MacBook is doing the same thing
