Fix a trackpad's left-click button on x230

#1 Post by TOTAL » Fri Apr 05, 2024 7:33 am

It has got worn out mechanically and needs a strong press to click. Is there a fairly simple way to fix that?

I very much prefer the non-original keyboard it is part of to the one I have bought on ebay - makes me realise what the aftermarked kb comments meant in all clarity.

I think it would take the microswitch and some soldering?

Maybe it could be replaced with the microswitch from x200?
