Hello, I recently bought a W530 with 1080p high-gamut screen and, although the color looks fantastic, has a few pressure spots. I'm looking for a replacement but I'm not completely sure on which ones would be legit.
I believe what I need is the 04W3471. Generic eBay auctions aren't very descriptive so I'm unsure of if that would be a safe bet. Also, some listings say 30 pins and some say 40 pins. Which amount of pins do I need? Is the FRU 04W3471 correct? I don't mind finding a screen from a W520 or something either, as long as it fits like normal inside.
(I might just put a thread to buy in the marketplace later instead of eBay or something, I don't know.)
Thanks for any help.

Re: W530 Screen - FRU Number, Number of Pins?
I have an AUO V.4 screen in my W530 which was originally in a (now dead) W520 and it works just fine (simple swap). FRU of my screen is: 04W1544

Be careful when buying a LCD screen online, most of the sellers is selling mostly "compatible" screens which are different than what you want. You need to specifically ask beforehand whether they actually do have specific model you're after. And even that is not a guarantee that you'll get what you want. I once paid $170 for an AUO V.7 screen only to get totally worn out V.7 screen that was barely managing 100 cd/m2 (it was very dark, not usable for anything). A skilled engineer would be able to change backlit in such case, but I am not a skilled engineer, so I just wasted money.
