Maybe a dumb question: Does the W540 come with a microphone?

My wife is about to join a Zoom meeting, and I am trying to set up my W540 for her. IIRC we have Skyped people in the past on other laptops without a problem, but after installing Zoom and testing the microphone, I have to wonder if the W540 has a microphone-or just a microphone jack. Any settings I should check-or uncheck. I thought laptops came standard with microphones.

As usual, you came thru for me, RBS. I had googled the question-how to tell if my microphone is working in W10-and got several YouTube videos. It turns out I just had to turn on permissions for aps to use my microphone-and camera, so if there's a way to mark this question as solved, that would be great. I'll still take a look at the HMM tho, always willing to learn something.
