Just got wind that MS is re-creating Flight Simulator for Windows 10. I saw the preview at the graphics are amazing. As good or better than what I've experienced so far in X-Plane 11. I signed up for the Insider Program and I would like to become a Beta tester for this sim.
I've been a licensed commercial pilot with an instrument rating since 1989 and would welcome the chance to help improve what they are doing.
Had I known this was going to be released I might have waited. But then again, no one will have a 727 produced at the time MS releases this, so at least I can fly the 727 on X-Plane until that time.
I will still be purchasing MSFS though.
My last version was FS2004 and that was getting very old by today's standards. I had to stick with it though because the version of 727 I bought and paid for wouldn't run on anything but XP. Hell, it wouldn't even load on Win 7, and forget about Win 10.

Re: MS Flight Simulator coming 2020
Interesting! I've had 2002, 2004 and FSX for a time but haven't done much in either for a few years (RL gets in the way). But I'd definitely take a close look at 2020 when it comes out. So much has changed since FSX, I bet we'll see some pretty impressive VFX. Although, I'm a little curious to see how many airports, worldwide, have ceased to exist since FSX came out. I know there were up over 19,000 in the FS2002 database.

The graphics look very good. Outstanding actually. There is a trailer available to watch at the MS site.
I really hope someone develops a 727 as good as Paul Golding did for FS2004 and FlyJSim has for X-Plane 11.
