So I really love my new laptop (still adjusting to the keyboard).
That being said, one thing that really annoys me is that Windows 10 does this irritating alarm telling me my battery is full. How do I disable that?
Thanks.

Re: Full charge battery alarm on T430s
Is it the OS that's notifying you, or possibly some other software that is monitoring the battery? I can't say I've noticed it myself, but you could set a battery threshold in "Lenovo Settings" so that it won't charge all the way up to 100% (There's benefits to using threshold to extend the longterm life of the battery anyway).

Re: Full charge battery alarm on T430s
It's the OS as far as I can tell. Doesn't happen when I am booted into linux.
EDIT: Took a look to see what Lenovo stuff I have installed. Just service bridge and system update. SU says there a power management update. I'm going to install it and see what happens.
Debating on updating the GPU driver also or just using w/e Windows installed.

Found it. On Windows 10 do this
Open settings app
go to system
go to notifications
scroll down to "Get notifications from these senders"
click battery (not the little slider next to it and not battery in the left hand column. just click on the word battery
turn off "play a sound when notifications arrive"

Why is my P1 Gen 7 so much better on battery? Cool, quiet, fast — but not on AC.
