W700 and Windows 10

Hello all.

I have 4 hardware devices that windows 10 is not able to install drivers for. System update says i have no updates available. I will list them below.

Base System Device
Base System Device
Fingerprint Sensor
PCI Simple Communications Controller

I am not sure how to figure out what these devices are more specifically besides the Finger print sensor. Any help would be very helpfull.

Those 2 entries for the 'Base System Device' are very likely to be the Ricoh multi-card reader, but I don't know if the older drivers would work. Here is the driver for Windows 7 x64 and x86, try giving that a shot.

The fingerprint sensor should be the Authentec AES2810, and this driver should work.

The 'PCI Simple Communications Controller' must be AMT for sure, and this seems to be the driver for it.

I had the same trouble with the FPR on a T510 that was pre-loaded with Windows 10 before I bought it on ebay.

The software drivers were there, but there was no GUI to load fingerprints to. There is a thread I created on this on the site, but I don't have the time to search for it. My solution fixed this problem.

If it the problem devices are showing up in Device Manager, try looking under Details > Property > Hardware ID's for each problem device. Then try googling the numbers to find out what the device is.
