MS XP Update Problem

Anyone run into this problem? Recent updates 1) MS >NET Framework Security update & 2) Security Update for Powerpoint Viewer (k696915) repeatedly show up as files for update. They must be failing to install because they keep reappearing for install.

You're not alone. I deal with it all the time whenever I update the faculty, staff and student stations where I work.
The MS fix doesn't seem to work.
