W98 512mb memory limit

I'm aware that there's a limit and it seems to be at 512mb.

I'm confused though.

Does the problem occur starting at 512mb? Or does it happen for the value greater than 512mb? (Thus up to and including 512mb is ok?)

Hope my wording is not too confusing:)
