On a clean startup, with only factory defaults, I uninstalled all the preloaded IBM software, then I upgrade all of them with the latest versions orderly (according to the instructions setforth by IBM webpage), then I upgrade my wireless driver and Access connections 3.21. I reboot thereafter, and everything seems to be working fine, when suddenly:
1. My wireless indicator does not show a firmware, that is it states: firmware: N/A (dunno if this is a problem or not)
2. When I try to reboot, my system hangs for one second, with a little windows screen showing a progress bar trying to end Access connections software. The bar progresses one blue block, and then my system reboots or ends, according to what I chose. After reboot, access connections shows no longer on the system tray bar.
what can I do (or what did i do wrong during installation) to make this bug dissappear??
NOTE(edit): this problem does not occur if I exit access connections from the system tray bar before I shut down or reboot my system. strange thingie, isnt it?
