ThinkPad P71 SSD1 slot not working

Hey guys, anyone experienced any faulty SSD1 slots M.2 type ones ...
Sometimes I get 2104 detection error on ssd2 (m.2) error, sometimes I don't and when I don't - my nvme is not recognized ... I thought that NVMe SSD 960 EVO (M.2) is not for P71 but when i added to slot SSD 0 it worked, then I tested SSD1 slot with original NVMe from Lenovo - same problems - ERROR or not recognized ...
First of all, there was thought about improper seating of nvme but after re-seating - no errors ...
My thoughts are - SSD1 is broken or do I need to play with BIOS for it to recognize? - But Lenovo Diagnostics can not find SSD1 when nvme is there and no error codes are popping up.
BIOS version 1.24 ( 2018-07-18 ) - i think it wasn't updated since launch-selling it and the original owner never had it updated.

Sounds like your ssd1 (m.2) slot/connection has some sort of hardware error, which takes a visit to ThinkPad/Lenovo depot for repairs...

Especially since the same NVMe SSD 960 EVO (M.2) worked on your other ssd0 (m.2) slot/connection worked.
