Help me build a Thinkpadstein :) It's my dream

Hi, I own a Thinkpad t14 gen 2
ryzen 5 5gen (6/12)
32GB RAM dual channel
1TB SSD NVME
The display is currently full HD IPS matte 400 NIT low power.

Is it possible to replace the display with an IPS 120Hz one? I definitely don't want OLED technology. And brightness: I wouldn't want to go below 400 Nits.
I don't know anything about this.

What kind of ribbon cable and matrix does it need? Will it work at all?

And what about battery life then? Because it's a big jump - from 60Hz (with low power technology) to 120Hz without low power.

Frankenpad is the probably term in your head, but honestly, it's not even that because that term only applies when you mash together parts from different Thinkpad models.

I don't have a T14 Gen 2, but here's how it usually goes:

1. You'll need the LCD cable for the 4K screen, because a 120/144Hz screen needs a 4-lane eDP connection just like the 4K panel.

2. Read the T14 Gen 2 AMD Hardware Maintenance Manual to figure out where the LCD connector is located on the back of the panel-- some panels have it on the right side, while some are on the left. If you already have the T14 Gen 2, just open it up, or use any System Information software to determine the model # of the LCD panel and just look it up on panelook or find its datasheet.

3. Now the tricky part: finding a 120/144Hz screen that will actually fit: your best bet is looking up 14 inch gaming laptop reviews and find out what which LCD panel is installed.
Planned Purchase: T480s i5-8350 FHD Touch
Impulse Buy: Thinkpad not named for safety reasons
