T22, Suse 9.1 personal, Infrared

#1 Post by Bob Collins » Fri Aug 13, 2004 2:50 pm

Does anybody have the irda port working with Suse 9.1 pro? I just installed this a couple of days ago and am trying to get it to work with my PalmV. No go so far, and nothing noteworthy from the logs that I can tell.

Mostly just curious if there are some special incantations that must be uttered under the full moon?

Try changing the /etc/modprobe.conf file
from:

Code: Select all

# IrDA
alias tty-ldisc-11 irtty-sir
to:

Code: Select all

# IrDA
alias tty-ldisc-11 irtty
or vice versa.
