Lindows for Laptop Anyone????

Would like to give it a try.....never got in on the free download when they first released it......anyone have a copy hosted somewhere I can download???....Or maybe shoot them a couple of bucks to send me a backup???...

Lindows gives their OS away because they want to sell you a subscription to the software installer and apps repository.
If you want to try some risk free linux try SuSE 9.1 eval or Knoppix 3.4. They are generally more up to date and handle new hardware better.
If you like linux go buy some Xandros or Lindows and you will get the software, installers and most importantly some support.

hi,
i f you wana try, get Lindows or Linspire OS Laptop edition version 4.5
i have tried Lindows OS v.4.5.330 it worked fine with my thinkpad x24.
