I've got a T-23 with the cruddy S3 Savage chipset. I've got DPMS enabled in my xorg.conf file, and I've played with all the BIOS settings I can think of, but I just can't get this backlight to turn off.
After X notices that it's idle, it blanks the screen, but the backlight stays on. I can't even turn it off by issuing a "xset dpms force off" command.
Anyone have a hint? Thanks.
