15.4" WS T61P mobo in T60 14"? [PIC WARNING]

Sorry to bump this thread, but I just did this mod and thought I'd share an alternative way to mount an ssd in the hdd bay area without needing to use the ultrabay and routing wires.

I have thougth of this myself, but never did it. With this mod, it should be possible to put a SSD and a HDD in the computer.

I think it is possible to use a mSATA => SATA adapter too, and then just use it that way, without voiding the warranty of the disk.

so this was a 15" 16:10 T61 mobo fitted into a 14" 3:4 T60
Which 16:10 T61 mobo would fit better into a 15" 3:4 T60?
14" or 15"?

I know a 14" 4:3 T61 fits into 15" 4:3 T60 more easily
..but if I was to choose between widescreen T61 mobos which one would I want?

P.S. an advice from thinkpad-forum.de suggests it's still 15.4" 16:10 T61 mobo. It seems it can be placed both into 14" and 15" 4:3 T60 in either case with a good amount of cutting the magnesium off. Hmm..

The 15.4" 16:10 motherboard is only "easy" way.
14" 16:10 machines have different left side connectors placement.
On 14" and 15" 4:3 and 15.6" 16:10 we have: VGA, modem, LAN, phones, mic, 1xUSB.
On 14" 16:10 we have: VGA, modem, LAN, 2xUSB. Both audio connectors have moved on front side.
