T61 QE X3100

#1 Post by tictoc » Mon Jan 09, 2012 10:11 am

Currently the T61 works great and according to some tests QE/CI is in fact running but it does not show up under About this MAC.
Screen savers work but I cannot play DVD though I can play AVI movies, I cannot install camtasia because it says that Quartz Extreme is not enabled.
I have tried several combinations from OXS86 intel Kexts files etc etc with no luck
That includes booting in 32 and or 64 bit mode.

Anyone have some other test or steps I can try?

The only other issues I have is my CPU shows up as a 1.91 and it's realy a 2.2 and when I put the laptop into sleep mode I cannot get it back up without powering it off and on.

Other than that it is very stable and works good. Also what is a better thinkpad that you can run OSX on if I went that route?

Here are all of the specs

I have QE/CI on mine.

Try using the 32-bit kernel, and try using GraphicsEnabler=off.

On my system, running GraphicsEnabler caused me to get a 4-way cloned split screen. :|
