had to google it, but those hard drives are 5400 RPM IDE drives, correct?

Correct, they are 5400. And they were error free the last time they were in a machine, but they've been sitting for about a year now. If you buy them, test them, and find out otherwise you can send them back, but I'm 99 percent sure they're good.
