I'm one of the moderators, and I am a woman. Why do you want to know? Thinkpads.com is for the exchange of information about ThinkPads. It's not a dating forum.

Having this is no worse than asking age or location. This just helps to get a feel for who you're talking to. If you don't feel comfortable or safe disclosing this information, then don't provide it.

Your dates comment sent my imagination on the rampage. At first, I thought about those toys from the 80's and then I thought maybe having something in the line of "ThinkBabes.com."
