Where's the bird???
Just got back after being out of town for a week and, when I logged back on, I saw the parrot had been replaced with a rather pixellated screen rendition of him on what looks like a T4X.

Re: Where's the bird???
Actually, according to the picture's creator, it's a R50.
Personally I like this much better than the "simple" bird.

sktn77a, you're officially the first person to publicly complain about the logo.
lol
the image is a 256-color gif so it should look clean on most every thinkpad lcd -- even on ones with only 4mb of vram. it's actually been up for two weeks now.
i plan to change it periodically. the first one was a very quick-and-dirty job. if anything, it's not "pixellated" but is a bit over anti-aliased due to resizing it from the original.

Pixelated? The toucan looks less pixelated than he did before, I think. Admittedly his perch is a bit more subtle than before!

this time around i used a T4x with a direct shot of the screen. this should keep T-series-owner complaints to a minimum. lolG-Man wrote:Will it be the same R50 model or maybe a T4x?
and, once again, the image will be officially "nonny friendly" at a miniscule 8007 bytes. i only exceeded my limit by 7 bytes.
