Comparison between T530 and L530

#1 Post by Charlie_Two » Sun Oct 14, 2012 6:48 pm

Hi Everyone, (new poster & first post),

My current T60 may need some surgery to keep it going (new fan) so I am looking for a quick replacement and the surgery can follow after. I always had T models (this is my 3rd) and as this time I am paying for it I need to figure out what I would be buying.

I am trying to compare a T530 to an L530 both with screen resolution 1600x900. I can work out some of the differences of the two models on some things.

Am I correct in thinking the L models do not have a removable CD/DVD drive compared to the T models?

Would the screen quality/graphics be the same on both models or are there differences between the two (basic graphics on both machines)?

TIA for any replies.
Charles

It has no easy removable bay, but you can remove the DVD-Drive very easy (its a CRU). You just have to remove one screw.

Its absolutely the same. :)
