X120E schematic/fuse map

I'm trying to de-brick my X120E after a coffee spill - no smoke or spark, it just switched off and is now completely unresponsive.

I'd like to check the fuse(s) first, but can't seem to find any info on what to look at - most sites point to nickpaton.fireflyinternet.co.uk as the place for schematics and fuse maps, but it seems to be down currently.

So, if anybody here could point me to a X120E schematic or fuse map, I'd really appreciate it (I'm assuming X100E should do the trick as well).

SO! is it not accurate that the keyboard is supposed to route a liquid spill around the system board and out the bottom..?
unless the spill was more a flood..

and thinking about the coffee, was it black or heavily sugared..? sugar does bad things i think..

have you opened the case and looked at the board for any obvious liquid contamination..?

It was not a 16oz flood, but not a few drops either; i'd say about 1/2 ounce of slightly sugared Turkish coffee, straight to the center of keyboard (area between spacebar and keys Y, P and ?), and as soon as it entered the cracks between keys, the system powered off quietly.

I immediately removed the battery and turned the laptop upside down to let the liquid drain, then disassembled the laptop and washed the keyboard and mainboard area thoroughly with distilled water (removed the HDD and memory first, of course, but no liquid got to them to begin with), then let it dry for more than a day before assembling and trying to power up...

Result - still dead as a dodo, either with battery or AC plug only; that's why I thought I should inspect the power first, but I am finding it hard to track anything down in there, with everything being crammed together and most things insulated inside tubes. Thanks for the welcome, any hints or tricks from experienced Thinktweakers would be appreciated!

i would have suggested denatured alcohol which would chase any H2o away..
then Q-tips on any accumulation..
but these boards now are more than single layer..
i guess my best advice is close visual inspection..

as for schematics, don't hold your breath.. IBM never let such things out and i suspect lenovo is the same..
tho there might be some lenovo tech type around here who might shed a little light..

my last spill of any kind was a new 755CE (that long ago!) which i cleaned up as above.. it worked for a while and then got flaky..

still i'm a bit surprised the turkish coffee did not flow out through the spill holes..
you can id them by looking at the bottom for a hole with a "drop" impression next to it..

good luck as i have now exhausted my "fix the spill" knowledge..

OH!, you can always seek a new system board on ebay or even here in the marketplace..
