How to replace Win7-Bluetooth stack with one by Lenovo?

#1 Post by BigCatAndy » Mon Oct 21, 2013 5:34 pm

Hello everyone,

recently I bought at eBay T60p and decided to install Windows 7 (legal copy). Everything went well, but I cannot enforce Windoiws 7 to use Lenovo Bluetooth stack. "Bluetooth device" in the "Device manager" shows 2 entries - "Windows Bluetooth Enumerator" and "Lenovo Thinkpad Bluetooth...". When I disable BT by a hardware switch, remove Microsoft drivers and then enable BT again, it immediatelly installs Microsoft stack again.

How can I enforce use of Lenovo software for the Bluetooth? This should be definitely possible, because on my previous T43p there was no "Microsoft Enumerator" entry in the "Device manager" (just "Lenovo" product).

Thanks in advance,
Andrey
