Are you aware that there is no more middle click on T_40

#1 Post by Utwig » Tue Dec 17, 2013 7:12 pm

Just option to scroll in the middle click area of trackpad. Lenovo support suggested 3-finger click but that gesture doesn't work. There is no more option to spawn 20 tabs by middle clicking on items of interest on a list and then close them.

No more pan in AutoCAD.

Zbook and Precision have middle click still.

Yes,
this is also the case for older models, since Lenovo has started to remove this option from the older drivers as well last year.

If you use Linux, you still can use the Midle Click funktion, but not the the Lenovo Windows UltraNav drivers.

Yep, I'm aware. I'm hopefully going to be buying an L440 soon. It's been a long time since I last used a ThinkPad (just under 4 years) - we'll see how I get along!

This made me chuckle.
Who needs buttons in this day and age, when new devices can support over 9000 gestures?
