Batch of T440s machines with failing boot sectors

Hi Thinkpad-ers,

My department recently purchased three T440s Thinkpads equipped with 512GB SSDs. One T440s is still in the box. The other two that are in use experienced the same problem after a few short days: their SSD boot sectors are lost and the machines therefore fail to boot.

When the first machine failed, we hoped it's an isolated incident. Now that the second machine has failed, it looks like it is not. We are going to ask Lenovo to also replace the hard drive of the third machine (which is still in the box) instead of waiting for it to fail too. I hope they agree and spare us the lost data and time.
