t430 display interchangable with 420

Thanks for the answer. Just to make sure: I could purchase a T420 1600x900 screen and just simply put it in my T430? Do I need to buy a different display cable as well for a higher resolution screen?

It describes how to replace the screen with X1 Carbon's, however, it mentions one needs a different cable when going with higher resolution and for a X1 Carbon screen there's a need to customize the cable manually. I've never done such thing before and I fear I might break it or just not make it. Is there any other site/blog/anything that deals with this kind of stuff particularly for T430? Have any of you ever done this?
