PC2-3200 (DDR2-400) in T43 seems not compatible

Did anyone try a PC2-3200 a.k.a. DDR2-400 SDRAM module in a ThinkPad T43?

Kingston number 9905293-007.A00LF, in a ThinkPad T43 with 915GM (integrated GMA), yielded 1-3-3-1 beeps. This module did work perfectly well in a Dell Inspiron 9300 (memory controller is Intel 915PM) and HP motherboard MOCA-AR Calcite (memory controller is Intel 945GT). T43 seems very picky when it comes to memory modules!

2014-09-26 edit add: Kingston 9905293-007.A00LF works perfectly well in also ThinkPad R60e, ThinkPad T61, Inspiron E1505 / Inspiron 6400.

AFAIK they never worked there, they are too slow (DDR2-400 = 400MHz)!
You need either PC2-4200 (DDR2-533) or PC2-5300 (DDR2-667).
And as for Dimitri_P's post: don't believe everything he says!
I have always used any DDR2-4200/5300 SODIMMs, as long as they were from a reputable brand.
Most were from Hynix or Samsung.
