Does "no ISA cards" mean no IRQ conflicts?

I know that IRQ conflicts with ISA cards means trouble. But I can see that PCI cards seem to share IRQs pretty well. So, does that mean if your (desktop) system has no ISA cards, that you won't have any IRQ conflicts?

No ISA cards means less IRQ troubles. You can still have IRQ problems though. I tried having a SCSI card, a FireWire card, a network card and a SoundBlaster Audigy in my desktop at once and I had to take the SCSI out to have everything run fine wihtout IRQ problem.

Thanks. This is kinda what I thought. If the PCI cards do have an IRQ conflict, what else can you do besides removing the card, or moving it to another slot?

If you know what you're doing, you can try to set the IRQ's yourself in the Windows system properties.
