SL510 Finger Reader
I had a T61 with a finger reader, a couple of years ago. I really enjoyed the finger reader. I now have an SL510 without a finger reader. Can I add a finger reader, by simply buying a palm rest with a finger reader, and plugging it in? Will my computer have a place to plug in a finger reader?

Welcome to the forum.
There is a palmrest with FPR for your machine: FRU 60Y4136.
Usually all newer ThinkPads since 2006 can handle FPR.
However, BIOS will not show it until installed.
