I have owned ThinkPads since the early 1990's and have always set up hard disk passwords in the past. However with my T450s and X1 Carbon with SSD's, I do not see that option. What setting do I use to create the equivalent of a hard disk password on a SSD? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Equivalent of hard disk password with SSD
Re: Equivalent of hard disk password with SSD
T450s (and X1 carbon I assume) is listed as having HDD password option in the tabook. There should be a 'security' options tab (or similar) with HDD password option in the BIOS.
I don't know of any T,W, or X series after 2002 that did not have a HDD password option.
