SL510 and Windows 7 64b - no Windows updates

I have a factory image W7Pro-64b on my SL-510. However no windows updates are being downloaded. Any ideas? All Windows services are operating. What IBM app is causing this?

You won't find any IBM app there.
1st: Thinkpads are now owned by Lenovo (since 2005!)
2nd: apps are for phones, laptops and desktops use programs!

Did you upgrade/clone the HDD?

In that case I had to install a newer version of the intel matrix storage driver for windows update to continue working on grandmas old SL510.

Very weird and difficult problem to investigate. Now I just switched the CPU to a T9600, a newer 500GB 7.2krpm disk, and 8GB RAM, the machines screams! except for the screen which is still a bit dull.
