I have kinda problem when entering overlay mode. At least I think what it is. It does it when i try to play a movie. Just when i run the movie player and when i exit it. The screen goes blank and then reappears and the movies starts playing. Kinda like changing resolution. It does the same thing when looking at the OpenGL settings card in controlpanel/display properties. Anybody has idea why is this happening. Everything works, but i just dont like it.
Thnx in advance,
Michael

I am seeing a similar problem. I just got my 2373-3VU and after applying a ton of updates from IBM and Windows XP, I've noticed that my screen blanks out when I start windows media player or try to watch the cool graphic on the active drive protection applet
I haven't had more time to research the problem, it looks like the problem appears after I've resumed from a hibernate. If i reboot the laptop, the problem goes away.
I read a post somewhere else on the forum that this might be being caused by IBM Access Connections 3.20, which is what I had, so I've upgraded to 3.21.
Not sure at the moment if this has solved my problem.

Okay, So access connections 3.21 did not fix the problem.
I called IBM tech support today and the lady suggesed that it might be a system board issue.
The video diagnostics on PC dotor do not reveal anything.
I tried connecting an external monitor but it did not pick up anything. (I tried a bunch of settings in Fn+F7)
Does this sound like a problem anyone else has encountered? I'm hard-pressed to believe it's a system board issue, still think it must be software+drivers!!
