Reduce saturation over hdmi

#1 Post by hhhd1 » Thu Oct 06, 2016 11:17 am

when connecting a laptop to an hdmi screen, colors are very saturated, and the saturation option is not available.

using intel graphics in an ivy-bridge based laptop (Lenovo essentials b590)

When connecting the same screen via VGA, saturation is available and works fine, but it the quality is quite crap and blury with shadows, even if i click on auto adjust on the screen itself.

the only connectors available are VGA and HDMI, no DVI or DP on either the laptop or the screen

So the color controls on the TV itself are disabled in HDMI mode?
How about the Display settings in Windows?
