lenovo thinkpad e531 camera issue

hi
i have problem with my cam

when i use windows 10 camera app .... camera working normally
but when i open it as Capture device in vlc player its start light then app kills
I tried it in windows 8.1 and windows 10
Also the same I do in vlc is working on my brother hp laptop
so please help me
