Definitely not 72 pin. I counted. And finding RAM for the 760C/L is turning out to be a big chore. It's 88 pins.

According to the withdrown book the 760L takes 88pin EDO:
http://ps-2.kev009.com/psref/twbook.pdf
..page 64

8MB/64MB 70ns/non-parity/3.3volt/fastpage
2 sockets for two JEDEC 88 pin EDO SO DIMMs of 8 or 16 MB (acts like fast page)

Edit: Same with the 760C - page 66

Edit2: just realized that 88 pin EDO is definetly not the standard 144 pin I’m used to xD
Thinkpads: Too many. Currently playing with an IBM 535

I'm also having a helluva time finding that 88 pin RAM. I can't find anything on ebay. Maybe I'll get lucky and find some lurking with all the 760E/ED/etc memory adapters I have on my shelf for ebay.

EDIT:
Got lucky and found a module. Googled the part number and it appears to be 16MB. Better than nothing.
Here's a photo of both for a size comparison. I don't have a 72 pin SODIMM handy, otherwise, I'd show that as well.
