Dolby Home Theater option gone after Win10 update

#1 Post by astroidea » Mon Sep 24, 2018 8:02 am

My T420s volume is barely audible without Dolby Home Theater on. Is there any way to make it louder without needing this feature or how do I get it back?

Have a look at "letasoft sound booster".. it allows you to "over drive" your sound/speaker system and increase volume quite considerably (up to 500% O/D)

I run it on all my laptops and, whilst good on some, not necessarily good on others. Just be careful not to ramp things up too high as you could either damage or blow your speakers.

I run at 200% with it and keep volume at/to 75-80% maximum to stop over burdoning them and to avoid sound distortion, but otherwise, no problems for me.

It depends on the laptop/system, but then YMMV.

Oh, BTW, it is downloadable as a 14 day trial, for later purchase if you find it useful...
