Mouse issues when Thinkpad in Dock II

#1 Post by MarcW » Thu Jun 30, 2005 8:19 am

I'm using a Logitech wireless mouse that has been working fine on my PC for a couple of years. When connected to the Dock via usb or ps2 (with the help of a usb to ps2 adapter) sometimes the mousepointer dissapears completly or the mouse just stops responding. I was wondering if I had to install the Logitech drivers on the Thinkpad and if so would that cause any issues with the IBM drivers for the laptops ultranav ?

Thanks,
-MarcW

I too am having this problem.

I'm about to start a new thread with a little more detail that I've found.

Look out for it.

I'm having a similar problem with the IBM docking station as well. I thought it was due to the bad PS/2 port. Would like to know if someone be able to fix this problems

I've mailed IBM about this and not had a response back yet.

this looks very clear to me to be a software issue (mouse driver) when the laptop is docked.

I'm not sure how this will work when the laptop is docked,I'd appriciate it if someone with a better understanding of how the docking station would effect it could comment
