t40 hard drive noise

I have had my t40 for about 6 months now, recently if I leave my laptop on for more than 5 hrs or so, then if I move my laptop around, or just tilt it, then the hard drive would make some sort of grinding noise. After I turn my laptop off and back on again, the noise would go away. Should I be concerned with this and get IBM to replace it? thanks

Run a hard drive test on it to see if it has any problems or low performance. That way you have a bit of backing when you call them for a replacement.
