T601 DVD connector

I am extremely close to finishing my first T601 Frankenpad, but the DVD drive comes up short from connecting with the T61 motherboard. Is there a connector that is used for this job, and if so, where can it be purchased? Is it a normal IDE connector, or is there a difference I should be aware of?

Sounds like you have a 14" planar, which is missing the interposer card.

This is an electrically-conductive separate piece of the planar that converts a 14" board for use in a 15" planar.

You can remove the Interposer off your T60 15" and connect it to the T61 planar.
