Devices and Printers

HI All,

I have an old, trusty T410 that I'd like to keep in service for a while longer.

Running Windows 7, mainly for accounting.

It works fine except for the printer drivers. For some reason, every time I go to the control panel, and hit devices and printers, it just grinds and grinds and grinds. I show the little green bar going progressively further to the right (at the top of the page), but it never finishes.

Now I have installed printers just fine, it's just a pain to change the default printer when you can't really open your device and printer manager.

Any thoughts or suggestions (other than a complete reinstall of Windows?)

Is your T410 still using a hard drive? If yes, I greatly recommend replacing it with an SSD and reinstall Windows.
