Recommended XP Modifiactions

I would recommend the following modifications to your new PC:

1) Disable unneeded Windows XP Pro services: Speed up your laptop by freeing up memory

2) Update your HOSTS file: Block ads, banners, and 3rd party cookies

3) Install Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP: Add functionality to Windows

4) Run msconfig and clean up your startup items: Free more memory

5) Return to the Windows Classic Style: Appear more serious.

tweakxp or the like there of is also a must have sys tweak tool imho.
