TAIWANESE MEMORY FIRM Kingmax tells the INQ that its DDR-2 533MHz 1GB SO-DIMMs will be ideal for Intel Alviso notebooks that will arrive in the third quarter of this year
This hints that Alviso might be closer to launch than we think. As far as I can tell, memory makers work with Intel to get their memory modules validated for use in Intel chipsets.
Homebuilt PC: AMD Athlon XP (Barton) @ 1.47 GHz; nForce2 Ultra; 1GB RAM; 80GB HDD @ 7200RPM; ATI Radeon 9600; Integrated everything else!
