Windows 98se on an R51 - missing some drivers

I have a nice R51 (1836-04u, IPS display). I have put windows 98se on it.

I've got it mostly working but I still don't have a few drivers. Does anyone know if these even exist for 98se?

1. power management (hardware ID IBM0068) - shows up as "unknown device". I do have the battery and power management utility listed on Lenovo's site installed, but it doesn't seem to include that driver. The system does know how to sleep, but it doesn't sleep when I close the lid, IDK if that's connected to this driver.

2. USB 2.0 drivers (shows as PCI universal serial bus). USB is working at 1.1 speeds, and I have the unofficial nusb3.6 driver installed from mdgx.com. 2.0 speeds would be nice?

3. when I try to install the INF for the display (downloaded from lenovo), it doesn't like it and stays with the generic monitor driver.

FYI, For anyone wanting to go down this path: the "chipset" drivers provided by Lenovo are wrong, as are the audio drivers. Search vogons.org for a post on putting 98se onto a T42, the link there has the correct drivers for both, and (as with most things T42) they work on R51s as well.
