Disk space?

#8 Post by doppelfish » Wed Aug 31, 2005 6:31 am

Quoth the Guru Ken Thomson,
"The steady state for disks is full."
The two questions which lend themselves as a natural follow-up are:
  • How much free disk space is left?
  • Did you ever bother to clean up your disk, or did you just buy a new one?
In a professional setting, it's cheaper to buy larger disks than to spend labour on cleaning up existing storage. How long until we drown in the data flood? Quick, man the lifeboats!

cheers,
-- fish
