Thinkpad T41 + Wistron CM9 Wireless minipci

#1 Post by A-Ge0 » Sun Sep 18, 2005 3:31 pm

well this is a common problem with thinkpads and wireless, but there is no good solution to the problem.
I have installed a Wireless card (non-IBM) and the usual stuff occur: unable to boot and stuff.
I use latest bios/controller releases 3.17/3.04 i think.
well the good news is that i can eventually boot my thinkpad with the card inside ONLY if it is AC powered. (the second time i try to boot it, it boots with no problem)

The question is simple:
IS THERE A GOOD-SAFE BIOS HACK FOR WIRELESS MINIPCI CARDS?
the classic no_1802.com doesnt work anymore i think.

There was a similar problem with Intel card with a good solution in this thread:
