Our Tunes Program?

#1 Post by kuma » Tue Nov 22, 2005 12:45 am

I just got my new computer T42, and I have all my music on my old iBook, that doesn't have a DVD burner. I've heard of this program Our Tunes. http://ourtunes.sourceforge.net/
Is this program ok to download, and use if I am going to be only transferring my music to another computer? I mean is it going to load any nasty things on my computer? I'm new to XP, and I'm worried about loading programs to my new computer.

Thanks.

Why do you need Ourtunes to copy music from iBook to your Thinkpad?
Do it via networking like usual (ie browse the iBook music folder on your Thinkpad and copy it).

You know that not everyone will reply within the first few minutes. There's this really handy thing to have on these messageboards called "patience."

As far as copying music, can you not just copy the files directly from the mac to the pc and run them on the PC version of iTunes?
