Um, I wanted to install a fresh OS this weekend.....but I can't seem to find the OS disc.

Am I losing my mind?

I don't believe anyone sends media out with a new laptop anymore. You likely have a partition on the hard drive that will let you do a system recovery. The last ThinkPad I had with one used F11 during boot to start the recovery program.
