Lenovo: 30Day return vs. Euclid: next day availability?

I am finally getting my first laptop. I was deciding between the T43 and Z60T and finally decided on the Z60T for a few reasons:

+ a bit more compact
+ EVDO
+ widescreen
+ Titanium cover
However, I have concerns that the 1280*800 rez on a Z60T may be too small. After looking around I came up with these two options:

I would've bought this from Euclid and be done with it, but I'm concerned that even though I've seen it at Office Depot, the Z60T's 1280*800 screen might be too small. The ThinkPads I've had from work before was a T30 with a 1400*1050 screen (awesome) and a R50 with a 1024*768 (way too small). If I end up hating the 1280*800 screen I would like the option of returning it and get a T43 instead, but having that option means paying quite a bit more and wait another two weeks, and time is a bit of a concern since having it for school ASAP will be REALLY handy.
