fn keys

#1 Post by longboard » Sun Feb 19, 2006 10:06 am

my problem is
I have a ibm thinkpad 390e and my youngest uses it.
and she has some how enabled the extra fn keys.
like when she press m she gets a 0 or a j and gets a 1
we have figured out that if you press the fn key it will type a m but goes right back to a 0 if you don't keep pushing the fn key
we don't know how to turn it off.
know idea how she enabled it , she is only 8 and doesn't remember. :roll:
i have done lots of searches and can't seem to find a answer.
any help would be appreciated.

I've had this problem with my T30 in the past.

Turn off the Num Lock.
